RodlerBead™ is used as a casing bead accessory to separate stucco from dissimilar materials such as windows, doors, vents, exterior trim, and M.E.P. penetrations during stucco application.
RodlerBead is a multi functional easy peel-and-stick product that has a built-in backer rod foam to create the space for sealant. After installing RodlerBead and screeding the stucco, simply peel off the protective sheeting, which also removes the top portion of the perforated foam. After the foam is removed, there is a perfectly sized void to be filled with sealant. RodlerBead will eliminate the additional steps, labor, and material required for traditional casing bead or J mold installations, cutting the typical installation cost in half.
