The Fabric of Nomaco online gallery

Nomaco Inc. has unveiled a new featured gallery on Nomaco.com to highlight associates and provide customers with a glimpse of a few of the individuals who help make their products every day.  The company partnered with Raleigh-based photographer, Christer Berg to create The Fabric of Nomaco, a photographic tribute to the company’s employees, which is now displayed online and within its production sites.

The project features 12 individuals representing both the North Carolina and Oklahoma facilities.  With the goal of telling a story through portraits, Berg set out to capture images of associates with the tools of their daily work.  Setting up a makeshift studio in the NC manufacturing facility, Berg talked with the subjects, learned about their roles with the company and worked to catch the essence of who they are and what they do at Nomaco.

“The associates featured in this photo project are representative of all of us at Nomaco,” explained Lars von Kantzow, Nomaco’s president and chief executive officer. “Whether working on the production floor, in the warehouse, in our offices or in the sales field, it is our associates that make up the fabric of Nomaco. Through this collection, we hope others can see the personalities and spirit of our team and begin to understand what it’s like to be a part of the Nomaco family.”

The project was inspired by an ongoing project of Berg’s The Fabric of Raleigh, which featured photos of local Raleigh residents.  For more information on Christer Berg’s work, visit PortraitswithPurpose.us

“It’s been a pleasure working with Nomaco on a project that recognizes and celebrates their employees across the company and across the country,” said Berg.
