When a solution was needed to hold springs in place and provide support, Nomaco developed a solid perimeter to surround the bedding and lock into the springs. This product supports and stabilizes the springs, and provides a smooth, uniform exterior shape.
As another component, Nomaco’s base pad provides added profile height for mattresses and aids in maintaining that height throughout the product life. It also acts as a moisture barrier within the product due to its closed-cell foam structure.
Incorporating Nomaco’s solutions over the years, this leading bedding manufacturer has reduced the number of SKUs within related products by more than 75%. The greater efficiencies realized also contributes to the company’s total cost of goods sold.
